"70 Years: A Proud History, A Bright Future"
The Intermountain Logging Conference is proud to host its 70th Annual Conference and Equipment Show, out of the spring-weather elements at the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center in Spokane, WA. The ILC will feature current issue presentations, training and accreditation sessions, panel discussions and guest speakers on topics current and essential to the logging industry. As well, the best in the industry will showcase innovations in technology and equipment.
The 2008 ILC will be one of the premiere logging and equipment shows in the Pacific Northwest this year. The conference’s equipment and trade show is designed and presented in continuing joint cooperation with the Pacific Northwest region's many equipment and supplier businesses. So come be a part of the 2008 ILC extravaganza, see what the ILC has to offer and find out what is new and exciting in the logging industry. The ILC will bring to you many industry experts and knowledgeable speakers, including our distinguished keynote speaker, Idaho Governor Butch Otter. Don't miss the in depth discussions and wide array of training sessions covering topics such as strategic planning for the future, our industry’s future outlook, operational efficiencies, what's new in our industry, logging safety, preventative maintenance and equipment repair, contractor/crew member training, innovations in forest management, environmental protection, business challenges and product certification.
In today's political and environmental climate, the discussion of partnerships is essential in ensuring that our industry remains both profitable and accountable. Join in with the best and most knowledgeable logging and forest management professionals as we explore issues of public land management and ask the important question: how can members of our industry be good stewards of forest land management to grow and produce timber, while meeting society's demand for sustainable and environmentally sound forest management, both today and in the future?
Catch up with old friends and meet new ones while helping to celebrate 70 years of logging history and great business opportunities for a brighter tomorrow. See how our industry is bridging the transition from the past into the ever changing and challenging future.
